EXCITING PHOTOSHOOT FOR A COMMERCIAL THIS SUMMER!

Today we are sharing the first look at the photographs from an exciting photoshoot for a tv commercial this summer! This project was so much fun to work on. We really tried to pull together two vignettes that represented a little bit of everything we sell here at The Millionaire’s Daughter. Hope you enjoy the process!

Early on Monday morning I met our moving team at the store where we did a complete re-arrangement of our two front room at our Aurora location. I wanted a clean slate to work with. I had previously gone through the store and chosen a whole bunch of pieces I wanted to feature. Styling furniture from different eras can be difficult but I knew we wanted the pictures to represent the eclectic style we LOVE at The Millionaire’s Daughter. For the living room I chose; this stunning rustic pine cabinet, a brown leather love seat, a modern hall table (sold), a set of rattan nesting tables, a round white coffee table and two modern lounge chairs, along with some fabulous artwork and accessories.

For the dining room I chose; a gorgeous curved leather banquette, a dark wood pedestal table, two rattan lounge chairs, a mid century modern teak cabinet and a stunning black dresser styled as a buffet (sold).

I wanted to infuse as much colour as possible into these rooms so I chose this beautiful wool rug with burgundy, rust and blue tones. Also when this vintage dial phone arrived last week I fell in love so it was definitely going to make it in the shoot.

I chose quite eclectic china this setting is from Norway and the pattern is called Lotte. I am a sucker for any blue and white china.

Pulling these rooms together was so much fun and a lot of hard work, I was thankful to have Alison and Ann Marie at the Aurora store tackle this project with me!

I hope you’ve enjoyed a first look at these photographs from our photoshoot, keep an eye out for our commercial airing this summer during Cityline on CityTV.

And a BIG thank you to Andrew at Wheel House Media for taking these stunning pictures!
